VISHWAMITRA - RED
Vishwamitra is a renowned sage and one of the saptarishis of Vaivasvata Manvantara. He authored most of the Mandala 3 of the Rigveda. He’s known for his qualities such as being fearless, truthful, devoted, and optimistic. Vishwamitra’s life is a perfect example of absolute dedication to achieving even the impossible. Vishwamitra house is framed upon the same values and expects its housemates to stay dedicated and focused in whatever task they take up and execute it successfully.
KASHYAPA - Blue
Kashyapa is a revered Vedic sage. Kashmir, the union territory of India got its name from Kashyapa Rishi who authored many hymns and verses of the Rigveda. Kashyapa is best known for tranquility, humility, wisdom, and selflessness. Kashyapa House is based on these values and the house members are expected to inculcate the same values and be role models to others in every endeavor of theirs.
VASHISHTA - Yellow
Vashishta is the son of Lord Brahma and the Raja-guru of Suryavamsha. He has authored Vashishta Samhita and Mandala 7 of the Rigveda. Vashishta was known for being truthful, compassionate, brave, and resourceful. Vashishta house draws its inspiration from him and the housemates shall overcome all challenges put forth to them with ease with aforesaid values.
GAUTAMA - Green
Gautama rishi belongs to the lineage of angiras. He authored the Gautama dharma sutra and various Rig Vedic and Sama Vedic mantras. Many suktas in the Rigveda go by his name. Gautama was known for his intelligence, composure, audacity, and valence. House members of Gautama House work together with this intention to strive hard and persevere to achieve.
